Surgical Fixation of Non-healing Jones Fracture

FOOT & ANKLE SURGERY PHOTOS AND VIDEOS

Surgical fixation of non-healing Jones fracture (5th Metatarsal) in a healthy 20 year old male. Patient was treated conservatively with non weight bearing for 6+ weeks and unfortunately failed to heal. At this point intra-medullary screw fixation was recommended. We used CT scan pre-operatively to ensure there were no oddities at the non-healing fracture site. Patient went on to heal.
