Bad Bi-Malleolar Ankle Fracture in Elderly Female

Bimalleolar fractures often do not need syndesmotic fixation. In this instance, this 75 yo female had mild non diabetic neuropathy, osteopenic bone, and an unstable fibular fracture fragment. Therefore, we elected to use transsyndesmotic fixation to help reduce the fibula, and re-align the mortise. Do you call this a low Weber C, or a Weber B fibula fracture?
